the 4-step method, built for absolute beginners

100+ designs, 3 formats AVALAIBLE

step 1 — pick your template & get started

Browse a library built for every mood and every wall: landscapes, florals, minimalist lines, seasonal pieces. Pick the one that speaks to you, there's no wrong choice here, only the one you'll enjoy making. Then it's simple, print your template, mount it onto a foam board, cut along the grooves, and tuck in your fabric pieces one by one. No sewing, no needle, just your hands.

Check the reference card & color palette

step 2 — get inspired before you start

Optional inspiration, whenever you want it. Every template comes with a reference card showing the finished artwork. Want extra direction? Each theme also has its own color palette you can use as a starting point, a helpful reference, never a rule. Follow it exactly, mix it with your own fabric stash, or ignore it completely. The choice is entirely yours.

Title

Tuck the fabric, no needle required

step 3 — create, one piece at a time

Lay the template down, cut your fabric along the guided lines, and tuck each piece into place using the technique explained in your Handbook.

There's no stitching, no machine, no fixing a mistake you can't undo, just layer after layer, at your own pace, until the picture comes together in front of you.

Not Just Templates. A Real Path Forward

the kinu studio library: 3 guides, one complete journey

We believe learning a craft deserves a path, not a single isolated file. That's why every collection

includes three complete guides and 8 thematic color palettes, designed to walk you from your very first cut to true mastery of technique and color.

Guide 1 - Kinusaiga Handbook: A Complete Beginner’s Guide

Learn the basics without fear of getting it wrong. Your first guide covers the fundamentals: the tools you need, the core "tuck" technique, how to read a template, and how to avoid the three most common beginner mistakes. Zero experience required, zero frustration.

Guide 2 - Kinusaiga Textile Guide: Fabric, Color & Texture

Once you've mastered the technique, materials make all the difference. This guide teaches you to pair colors, textures and fabric types, and puts our 8 thematic color palettes directly into practice, so choosing fabric becomes a guided decision, not a guess.

Guide 3 - Craft & Refine: Techniques, Tips & Troubleshooting

The final guide is for those ready to level up: finishing edges cleanly, handling more complex shapes, solving the most common technical issues, and achieving the polished finish that separates an amateur piece from a truly refined one.

MARLEN R. — MOM AND DIY LOVER

we're kinu studio

Kinu Studio started with a simple frustration: the art of kinusaiga is beautiful, meditative, and genuinely achievable,no needle, no machine, no years of practice. But finding the right templates meant piecing things together from scattered sellers, guessing which fabrics would work, and hoping the instructions were actually beginner-friendly. We built the resource we wished existed: a complete library of templates, real color direction for every design, and guides that actually teach the technique, not just a single file and good luck. 100+ templates. 3 formats. 8 color palettes. 3 complete guides. One digital collection, built to take you from your first cut to a wall full of finished pieces.

frequently asked questions

Do I need any sewing experience?

No. Kinusaiga uses a no-sew technique called "tucking", you fold and tuck fabric into grooves rather than stitching. The Handbook walks you through every step from scratch, so complete beginners can finish their first piece the same day.

What do I actually need to get started?

A printer, fabric scraps, a craft knife, scissors, and a foam or cardboard base to mount your template on.

Which print format should I choose?

Every template is included in A4, US Letter and Square, so you can pick whichever matches your printer paper and the frame you already own, no resizing or cropping needed.

How do the color palettes work?

Each template's theme (coastal, botanical, seasonal, grandmacore, and more) comes with its own dedicated color palette, so you can choose fabrics with confidence instead of guessing what will look right together.
